One of the moderators has come back from a prolonged 'sabbatical'. Moving is traumatic for me. I have PTSD and I was a military dependent (which is for that matter connected). I wouldn't usually presume to burden others with such things; it's merely an explanation. I also fell down the f'in' stairs yesterday and I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, but I apparently merely stretched some tendons and damaged my ankles more, for which I'm grateful.

I'm looking right now for responses from members...

This is also an apology. I never meant to be absent this long. At the time I started getting back into LiveJournal...on 6/4...my motherboard (computer) fried and I just got it back. As in, another ten weeks was added to the absence.

I'm looking for suggestions as well. Next step is just contacting everyone on the list, and I will be looking for any volunteers or do it myself.

I am also oregonnerd13 at charter dddot net for e-mails for the faint of heart...I haven't yet gone to Google, Hotmail and mail.com e-mails to check mail.

First exercise is excoriating Glenn...me.

Is this comm still alive? And apologies to anyone at evidence0flife as you've seen some of these pieces before.

Let's go visual for a start.
I will put down ten words and the workshop would involve arranging these words visually to create a poem. You can mutilate the words and you are allowed to add five new words of your own.

Tryst. Fear. Limb. Svelte. Saliva. Feign. Mist. Heinous. Gentle. Crucify.

Before we make grand designs of where the horde shall ride, and which word scapes are waiting to fall, I thought it better to take a quick head count of people who would still like to sit around at ariascorner

It has been a long time. Like dissolving energies chaotically reaching terminals, we are hovering around a terminal start.

All those on board give me a shout please.

I'm sorry, I simply can't do this at this time. Be moderator, that is. I've done a disgracefully bad job, and I can't pretend I'm in a space where I can do something like this. I will be, just as I'll resume writing (other than poetry, which is fairly constant) at some point. The last time I moved, after a similar space of time (8 years) it took something like 5 years before I really began writing again; however, the process was considerably complicated by the fact that I was living with a woman for an extended period who wasn't family...for the first time. I'd rather carefully avoided this before. The point of this observation is that I'm still living with the same woman, and the presence of her daughter is spotty enough that it doesn't complicate things too much...and I even have a space of my own. Which is also taking some getting used to, after eight years.

So: I am oregonnerd 13 (though there be no space in the name, naturally enough) at charter dotter net...and I need volunteers. Put it this way, my ADD is acting up again.

This is now open, unmoderated posting...because I have yet to get it together enough to do it consistently. Health problems (I suffer from something called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and I'm at the latter stages), going back to work...the various, boring things of 'real life'. I am trying to get it back together! really!
